The Silicon Valley Space Business Roundtable (SVSBR) is an organization that encourages the growth and development of aerospace-related businesses in California’s Silicon Valley. We are a major contributor in the continuous effort to keep major projects at the NASA Ames Research Center. We provide input to leadership groups to expand the area’s business base by providing specific recommendations to improve the space business climate.

SVSBR has its sights on the future of high technology. We provide forums by leading aerospace leaders to educate the industry on initiatives and goals. Our educational outreach program encourages students to enter these fields through our support of several schools in the Silicon Valley.

Silicon Valley’s Aerospace Market Sector

Aerospace-related business comprises an important part of the Silicon Valley economy with both commercial and Government sectors operating here locally. Two of the Nation’s largest spacecraft providers, Space Systems Loral and Lockheed Martin, have local manufacturing facilities and support a robust local supply chain. Premier Government research facilities include NASA’s Ames Research Center; home of thousands of local scientists and engineers and supported by hundreds of companies providing a broad range of services.
